Wiper Blade Installation Instructions for the:

Pin in Arm- FlexBlade

This is one of the newer style arms being introduced by automotive manufacturers. This wiper is found on 2005, 2006 and 2007 model years. Some cars with this type of arm are the BMW 3 series (2006 & 2007), Ford Five Hundred (2006), Ford Freestyle 2006), Volvo S40 & V50 (2005 & 2006) , Mercury Montego (2005 & 2006), Volkswagon Jetta (2005) & Passat (2006) and several Mercedes models.

Step 1

If the adapter is installed on wiper when you received it, remove the adapter by removing the large plastic cover first and then pushing the small plastic adapter out. Slide pin on wiper arm into the small hole on FlexBlade as shown in illustration 1.

Step 2

Lower the wiper arm down as shown in illustration 2.

Step 3

Make sure the right angle piece on the wiper arm is firmly on the FlexBlade wiper. This right angle piece should fit tight across the top of the FlexBlade wiper.
