SS2000™ silicone grease is one of the best all purpose greases on the market. It is a silicone based grease with PTFE (similar to Teflon®) that gives it a unique ability to provide excellent lubricity to just about any moving part (metal, rubber or plastic). Since it is made from Silicone it has outstanding water washout resistance and will not become stiff or runny in temperatures ranging from -60C to 400F.
Typical applications include
- Squeeky door hinges (for cars and homes)
- Overhead garage door opener chains and rollers
- Automatic sliding door tracks in mini-vans
- Other moving parts made from metal, plastic or rubber
